London has long been the mecca for the finest restaurants, as well as the most trendy. But there’s a new wave of dining experiences sweeping the capital that have people getting rather excited, and perhaps a little unsteady on their feet.

Say hello to the bottomless brunch.

New to London, the Crab Tavern at Broadgate Circle offers a heaven for seafood lovers. Featuring notable specialties like the epic Bucket Boil - a huge basin of mixed seafood and meats, the Crab Tavern has an extensive menu of delicious dishes, including mighty meat dishes for steak fans like myself.

Crab Tavern has another restaurant in Dubai, where the popular ‘business brunches’ are a weekly occurrence. Bringing a taste of the experience to the UK, the Lovin’ Feeling brunch happens every second Saturday from 1PM and offers a three-course meal and unlimited booze for just £45 - one of the best value brunches of this type I’ve found.

Fun and fancy free, the brunch channels film favourites like Footloose for its theme, with fun props and cheesy tunes filling the room. Where as other brunches offer bottomless food as well (usually small dishes) the menu is half set, with a big sharing board starter filled with bites including lobster rolls (which are incredible), followed by a choice of full mains - I went for steak as we had seafood for starter and it was cooked beautifully. The final course was a set dessert platter of various goodies including chocolate brownies and pecan pies. You will leave full!

The dessert course was the only part of the meal that I wasn’t overly impressed with. Although it tasted nice, it felt a bit ‘store bought’, which lets down the  other superbly cooked dishes.

As for the booze, which I know your all gagging to hear about, the offers is excellent. Most brunches in London focus around an offer of bottomless Prosecco, which has it’s charms, but lack variety. The drink on offer at Crab Tavern includes red, white and rose wine, beer, corona, and Bloody Mary’s. Winning.

Time is limited for the Brunch, so if you’re planning on going, you need to get there for 1PM to make the most of the drink, otherwise you’ll also find yourself rushing your food too.
