The other week I was invited by Penhaligon’s to attend the launch of their new men’s grooming range, Bayolea. Held in the penthouse of the London Edition hotel, it was a beautiful sunny evening and the perfect setting to discover this premium range.

Covering every aspect of the traditional men’s grooming routine, Bayolea also includes the brand’s first step into the skincare world; a new soothing gel, balm, face wash, cleansing mask, hair and body gel as well as hair pomade and a moustache wax are presented next to the brand’s first, and only, antiperspirant deodorant. The rest of the collection is rounded off with a shaving soap, Edt fragrance, shaving cream, scrub and luxury wooden shaving bowl.

“I’m thrilled that we’re releasing this range, responding to our customers and applying a sprits of Penhaligon’s elegance to a modern grooming range. The fragrance is wonderfully fresh and masculine and I can’t wait to see it on the shelf (as well as in my bathroom!).” - Matthew Huband, Penhaligon’s Head of Global Marketing

The Bayolea fragrance is an adaptation of a scent from the Penhaligon’s archive. A burst of lemongrass, mandarin and tangerine opens the fragrance with a fresh zest. The composition then moves into a warming heart of cardamom, black pepper and lavender and finishes with masculine base notes of cedar wood, sandalwood, musk, moss, patchouli and amber.

Bayolea is also available as a scented candle so you can take the scent throughout your home as well.

Bayolea is available at penhaligons.com
