Last weekend I visited the Design Junction at The Sorting Offices in Central London, a big exhibition of the latest and hottest designers and designs that are on the precipice of setting the world ablaze. One brand I came across, and have fallen head over heels for, was Cherchbi — a British born and bred leather goods and accessories company founded by Adam Atkinson.

Cherchbi’s designs are a masterful blend of contemporary style, rich heritage and traditional manufacturing, which gives this label a gravitas I have not seen amongst many emerging brands. It’s own provenance is a testament to its values – seeking to use British raw materials, made, processed and created on British soil, Cherchbi uses the often discarded wool of an iconic British breed, the Herdwick.

The stand out pieces that caught my eye within the impressive collection were the range of iPad cases and document pouches. With the current trend of man-clutches growing stronger with every season, I have been tempted to dabble and see if I can pull of this niche style. Now, I’m not one for unabashed colours; I like richness, depth, darkness and texture. So when I when I gazed upon this covetable selection, it was love at first sight.
