It’s here! The Clarks & Norton collaboration has arrived!

Announced earlier in the year, I have been waiting for these shoes since I first saw them previewed at the Clarks shoes press day. This is one of those collaborations that just works so seamlessly – both iconic British brands, both experts in creating durable quality with style and functionality blended into everyday styles.

Every detail in the collection fuses form, function and aesthetic with no detail left unexplained or without reason. The premium, heavyweight leathers, Goodyear welted stitching, double stitchdown construction and the covetable reinforced gear-change toe panels make this one of the most exciting shoe collections for men out there.

Stuart Garner, CEO of Norton, in conversation with Huyperbeast said the collection was about “Traditional and authentic motorcycle footwear manufactured with quality components using historic and modern design styling to produce a truly original and authentic range of footwear. All men whether motorcyclists or not [will love the range]. The integrity and traditional design values will appeal to all customers looking for quality footwear with a tough and classic design look.”

The collection is as strong aestheticially as it is physically – both brands’ passion for heritage and authentic British style shines through in every aspect. The collection is made up of five styles, check them out below.

Mellor Top

The classic Chelsea boot takes on harder edge with these boots, grounded with strap and buckle detailing to the outside ankles. Matched with the stud detailing, stitchdown construction and Goodyear sole, these boots are the foundation of the collection.

Norton Brass

A mid-calf biker boot in thick leather, the Norton Brass are a classic representation of the moto trend with inside zip fastening. The presence of the Ortholite footbed makes them exceptionally comfortable and aids in wicking away moisture.

Norton Zip

This calf-length boots have an extra 4cm over the Norton brass but still with the same hardworking leather and stitch down construction. The highest priced pair in the collection at £250.00, there’s also the addition of a double-buckle fastening over the rear zip for added detailing.

Norton Rise

Lastly we have Norton Rise, now these boots count as the 4th and 5th in the collection as they come in two colourways; black and brown. These are hands down my favourite of the collection and, as of yesterday, have already been ordered and are on their way to me! I can’t wait for them to arrive. I went for the lack pair, I like the brown but decided to just go classic, the contrast detailing on the sole will give my staple all-black looks a little something extra. The detailing on these shoes is great, from the reinforced toe strap (designed for the biker to change gear on his bike without damaging the shoe) and the pull-on tabs on the collar just give these a great look, so utilitarian and functional without looking simple and boring. I’ll be sure to update you with pics when they arrive.
