As part of it’s new Citizens of Farah initiative, menswear label Farah takes its devoted followers on the road with the launch of its first comedy night ‘Just Farrah Laugh’.

I always find it interesting to see how brands develop their communities with the ever-changing landscape of retail and customer relations. More and more, brands are finding off-the-beaten-track ways to engage with their audiences and provide alternative means of increasing brand awareness and loyalty. Brands want people to buy into their way of life and their community, so they are trying to provide 360 experiences from the store to the streets.

Just Farah Laugh

Then first event took place in Manchester on the 19th of March in the northern quarter’s hotspot, Kosmonaut, with a performance by the BAFTA and Chortle nominated Ian Stirling, supported by the up and coming Alex Smith.

The video from the night looks like fun was had by all and the runaway success of the evening has meant that Farrah are taking the show on the road. I can’t wait till it hits London.

The event coincides with the launch of Farah’s latest SS14 collection, featuring hallmark Farah detailing across polos, and shirts, some great conversational micro prints and timeless outerwear styles. I have a such a love/hate relationship with Farah, the styles and prints are effortlessly cool, but I hate that I am not cool enough to pull it off. Maybe a round of tattoos will help? ‘I love Mum’, anyone? I’m loving the outwear offering at the moment. And having just popped down to AW14 press day, it’s only getting better this year for Farah!
