Fashion eyes were given a feast at the Harry Potter premiere in London.

WOW – What a night! With crowds amassing in such number that are usually reserved for super festivals like Glasto, Trafalgar Square was barely recognisable last night at the premiere of the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise.

All eyes went straight to the heroine of the films, the divine Miss Emma Watson.

Emma looked stunning in this Oscar De La Renta gown straight off the runway. The dove grey ball gown had a beautiful bouffant tule skirt, draping down from an intricately embroidered bodice.

From the A/W ‘11 collection, it was the perfect outfit for this celebratory although sombre occasion.

Emma did opt to tone down the white jacket which was seen on the runway and paired it with a much less in your face, beautifully cut, chic white crepe jacket from the Antonio Beradi S/S ‘11 Collection

For the evening after party Emma switched it up and wore a cute-as-a-button oh-so-chic Ellie Saab number, covered in sparkly detail and pinched at the waist with a narrow belt.

There is no doubt this young lady has cemented herself as a fashion icon. I adore her.

My other favourites of the evening were the beautiful Bonnie Wright, who opted for a beautiful vintage Miu Miu. The peach dress is made up of a ruffled blouse top and a long slim silky skirt. Simple and elegant. Bonnie accessorised with Wright and Teague earrings and a matching peach clutch.

Of course we cannot leave it there, as there is one more lady who always causes a stir with he quirky fashion choices (remember the odd shoes?), that lady is of course Helena Bonham Carter.

HBC wore a Vivienne Westwood number, as if you were surprised. The dark green silky, flowing number fitted Helena perfectly, and she added extra cool with her staple John Lennon sunglasses.

Accessorised with an oversized floral fascinator, I happen to think she looks amazing and this is one of her best choices to date.

Now we must forget the boys, Both Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint looked every part the mature, dapper actor. They both opted for fitted suit, Daniel in grey and Rupert in staple black tie. I happen to really like Daniels suit here, I am having trouble finding the designer so if you know, drop it in the comments box!

(Not a huge fan of JK’s attempt, it’s a nice idea but it doesn’t fit her well enough, it it was tailored all the way down I think it would be a big difference).

So who were your favourites form the night? What about the guests? It was who’s who of celebs and VIPs. Let me know your thoughts in the comments box below.
